An ecological toilet is any type of toilet or WC which generates less environmental impact compared to a conventional toilet.

Compost toilet: This type of ecologic toilet doesn’t use water, the residue falls into a chamber where it is accumulated and processed naturally. The maintenance duties require that the user empties the chamber and deposit the residue in a compost bin so that the composting process is completed and the waste becomes compost. In this type of ecologic toilet, the urine is channeled separately and sawdust, coconut fiber or activated carbon are needed to improve the biological process and limit the emanation of odor.
Eco tolet: an eco toilet works in a similar way to a conventional toileet, which makes it easier to use and more adaptable to a conventional home. The advantage of this type of ecological toilets, when compared to a conventional toilet, is that they use much less water each time they are flushed. The eco toilet only uses 1.5L each time we use it. 8 times less liters of water than a conventional toilet! To flush this eco toilet, the user raises and lowers the black handle two three times. This way, instead of having to pour 12L of water, it is the user who pumps the residue through the siphon and pipes. With a simple gesture we save up to 10L of water every time we flush our ecologic toilet. In addition, the simplicity of the design of this eco toilet allows us to connect it to the sink drain, thus we recycle and stop using clean water.
